The Food Price Monitor is published quarterly by the NAMC. The May 2018 Issue reports on year-on-year headline Consumer Price Index (CPI) and food and non-alcoholic beverage price index for May 2018. It also compares South Africa’s food inflation with that of a few selected countries as well as South Africa’s urban and rural food prices. It concludes by giving an outlook of food prices over the next three months.
