Senior Manager

B Nyhodo is an agricultural economist in position of a MSc degree and Executive Development Certificate both from the University of Stellenbosch. He is a proud product of the University of Fort Hare having done his undergraduate degree there. B Nyhodo has been an active member of the Agricultural Economics Association (AEASA) of South Africa since 2004, an active member of the African Association of Agricultural Economists (AAAE), a member of the International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE) and used to actively participate in the International Food and Agribusiness Management Association (IFAMA). B Nyhodo started his career at the Western Cape Department of Agriculture as a Young Professional. He joined the NAMC in 2006 as an Economist tasked to work within the then Economic Research Unit to establish capacity within the organisation to do the rural Food Price Monitoring and has never looked Back. He has contributed as either a lead author or co-author on a number of book chapter, written peer reviewed journal articles and presented during professional associations conferences. In April 2018 B Nyhodo was appointed as a Senior Manager responsible leading the team working on Agricultural Industry Trust Portfolio within the organisation.
